The Harrier Pro models are built with features that are suited to commercial grass cutting and a popular choice for contractors as well as domestic users. The 479B has improvements including a newly designed cutter blade, copper infiltrated top BBC pulley and improved torque Honda engine.The Harrier 48 Pro (479) is fitted with a high performance Honda GCVX170 engine. It has a fixed speed drive and a practical BBC or blade, brake clutch. The BBC stops the blade from turning allowing you to move the mower across paths and gravel without having to turn the engine off. The drive is still engaged so no effect is needed to push the mower. This also reduces time spent restarting the mower when emptying the grass bag. The 479 has a 48cm aluminium cutter deck and front bumper. The grass cutting height is adjusted by a single lever and has 7 fixed settings ranging from 13 60mm. Hayters rear rollers are constructed of reinforced polymer with glass-fibre weave. The 2 piece ribbed, roller design gives excellent traction and allows you to cut right up to the edge of lawn borders without tipping.
