The Hayter Osprey 46 self-propelled mower (HA 611) has a 46cm / 18 inch cutting width and is powered by a Briggs and Stratton 500 Series engine. The Hayter Osprey lawn mowers are recommended for cutting small medium sized lawn areas.The Osprey 46 self-propelled mower can be used for 3 different mowing typesCut and Direct Collection. Traditional cut & collect into a grass bagRear Discharge. Remove the grass bag and the grass cuttings are ejected directly onto the ground behind the mower. Use in longer grass areas where the cuttings can be left to wilt back naturally.Mulching. The grass cuttings are cut then re-cut into very small pieces which are blown back onto the ground. These cuttings are so tiny they virtually disappear into the lawn. These recycled grass clippings add extra moisture & nutrients to grass roots so they grow stronger and healthier. The cutting heights on the self-propelled Osprey 46 mower are very simply changed with a single lever from 25 70mm. The 55l grass bag is of a fabric design with a wide opening and integrated grab handle for ease of emptying. Hayter have even added a cleaning port. Attach a hose pipe to the port to clean the underside of the deck of any grass build up.
