The self-propelled Masport Contractor Pro has been designed for heavy duty, demanding mowing tasks. Time is money so you dont want an over complicated mower that takes ages to set up each time you use it.The steel decked Contractor Pro has a 21 cutting width and uses a quick cut swing back blade to tackle the most demanding, overgrown lawns. If the blade hits an object, the swing back blade system is designed to protect the crankshaft from damage. The 3-speed heavy duty gear box will let you adjust the travelling speed of the mower according to the mowing conditions.The Masport Contractor Professional lawn mower is powered by a Briggs and Stratton 850EX ReadyStart engine. ReadyStart engines require no choke or priming so are always ready to go. The 850EX petrol engine produces 190cc of power and 11.5 Nm of torque. The higher the torque rating the easier and quicker it is to mow thicker and longer grass. Worldwide Briggs & Stratton is the most widely used engine type on lawn mowers & garden tractors.3 mower options are offered on the Masport Contractor Pro; cut and collect, cut and drop and mulch. The 80 litre grass collector is made of fabric so the clippings are packed in easier with the constant airflow.As a commercial user you will require additional professional features on a mower over and above those fitted as standard. The Contractor 21 has a steel rear discharge flap, aluminium wheels, bumper and reinforced handle system.
