The Mountfield 1740H twin with a 290 litre grass collector and mulch kit as standard. Powered by a ST550 twin cylinder engine and pedal operated hydrostatic drive. The grass tractor is extremely productive with a wide 102cm cutting width and 6 litre fuel capacity.Benefitting from a tow bar as standard the Mountfield 1740H twin is an effective all-year-round machine with plenty of options for towable extras such as trailers, dethatchers and seeders.The two bladed cutting deck has 7 cutting heights ranging from 25mm up to a lengthy 80mm. The large 290 litre collector can be emptied from the seat and has an audio grass level indicator. When the supplied mulch plug is fitted the grass cuttings are reduced to a fine consistency and provide a natural fertiliser for the lawn.Mountfield ST550 twin engine offers both performance and fuel economy. The foot pedal operated hydrostatic drive is responsive and simple to operate.The seating position gives plenty of user support with an adjustable seat.
