Commonly seen in bright orange, California Poppies are understandably popular, but this selection is a welcome contrast. Its double, or semi-double, flowers are a pale peach cream, rising above mound of dainty foliage. It will thrive in a poor, dry soil. Flowers July to August. Planting sow March May in situ, in shallow, pre-watered drills. Cover with a very fine layer of soil over the seeds and firm down. Keep moist until the seedlings emerge, and then thin them out to about 30cms spacing. Aftercare regular deadheading and cutting of flowers through summer will stimulate more growth. Allow this variety to self-seed unwanted seedlings are easily pulled up when they emerge in the following spring. Eventual height & spread 25 25cms.
