With its fully double, bicoloured flowers that are carried above airy, lacy foliage, this chic perennial Columbine prefers dappled shade but will also thrive in full sun. A great choice for cottage gardens or woodland planting schemes, its also an excellent variety for cutting. Flowers May to July. Planting sow indoors February May, onto a good seed compost, and cover sparingly as light will help germination. Keep at 15-20C, although seeds may sometimes need a period of exposure to cold. Prick out when large enough to handle. Plant out at 30cms spacing when all chance of frost has passed. Aftercare keep well-watered until established, and deadhead regularly to promote fresh blooming. Eventual height & spread 70 45cms.
