The button-shaped flowers are carried on sturdy stems and are ideal for cutting. Flowers July to September. Planting sow outdoors March May to enjoy flowers from June to September. Alternatively, sow under glass August October, overwintering the seedlings for stronger plants and earlier flowers in the following year. Sow in pre-watered compost and cover sparingly with soil.
