The Tornado 598e is a battery mulching lawn tractor powered by an innovative 48v 40Ah lithium battery system. The 98cm twin cutting deck mows quickly and effectively without the noise and extensive maintenance of a petrol engine. As reducing carbon footprint becomes ever more important, moving towards a greener way of working in the garden by purchasing battery or cordless machinery is a practical start. STIGA have recognised the need for a functional and effective battery ride on mower and have produced these models to meet market demands. The cruise control feature makes mowing even less of a chore, and with eco mode set, the battery life is conserved with undemanding mowing conditions. The twin bladed cutting deck is designed to cut and collect with maximum efficiency with two anti-scalp wheels to protect the grass and deck. The 598E battery tractor mower has electric blade engagement and 7 lever selected cutting height positions ranging from 2580mm. Designed to be functional and easy to use, the 598E has a quick key start ignition and pedal operated rear wheel drive. The LED dashboard displays the mowers status and all the controls are within reach of the seat. The steering wheel and seat can be adjusted to your best driving position. Suitable on areas up to8500sqm. Charge time: 2 hours 45 minutes.
