What is an Ex Demo Machine? These are machines that have been used for display purposes in our showroom or demonstration days with customers. They have had very little (if any use) and these machines are all tried and tested through our workshop before despatch. An ex demo machine may have light scratches or some very limited signs of wear and tear consistent with a few hours of use. They all come with a full manufacturer warranty. The Mountfield MTF 84M is a great addition to the Mountfield range of petrol lawn and garden tractors. With its overall width of 90cm it has been designed for gardens and lawns which need a garden tractor but have restricted access. The cutting decks have anti-scalp wheels fitted, the deck then floats over the ground preventing scalping and giving a cleaner cut. The manual transmission has 5 forward gears, reverse & with a turning circle of just 180 cm can equal the manoeuvrability of the smaller compact ride on mowers. The Mountfield MTF 84M lawn tractors cut wider than their wheel width which means there is little trimming left to do after the lawns have been mowed. A mulch plug can be purchased as an optional extra with the mower. For areas that are being cut on a more regular basis the mulching function cuts and re-cuts the grass into tiny particles that are blown back onto the ground where they disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil. Deck engagement couldn?t be simpler; you just have to pull the control switch for On and push it in for Off. For added versatility you can purchase a tow bar, rear grass deflector and mulch plug.
