When the solar panel is placed in the OFF position and sunlight is available, the water pump will cease to work but the battery will continue to be charged. The solar panel can be mounted to the wall with the wall/deck bracket, or placed into the floor with the spike. This water feature is rated IP44 making it suitable for outdoor use.
